Best Gaming PC

What is the best Gaming PC ?

Gaming has become an important past time in our society today. Every few years we are introduced to new gaming systems that try to push the envelope and set a new standard for an immersive type of system. The latest craze and the future of gaming is virtual reality; it is the only way to fully immerse yourself within a video game world. Sony’s PlayStation 4 just released their own virtual reality component with fantastic games to rave reviews. Sooner or later every gaming system will have a VR component.

When people are comparing video game systems, there is a wide range of opinions. There are loyal fan bases committed to all three of the major consoles: people love Microsoft’s Xbox One, Sony’s PlayStation 4, or Nintendo’s newest console, the Nintendo Switch. With so many to choose from, which one is the best?

I have come to believe after talking with various gamers around the Internet, that the best way to play video games is using a gaming PC; they are the most powerful devices to play games on and offer the most advanced graphics, state-of-the-art technology, and are also mostly compatible with the latest virtual reality devices. Today I will be looking at the best gaming PCs.

How to choose the best gaming PC

If you are just a beginner in the world of PC gaming, or even a more advanced player looking for an upgrade, finding the best gaming PC can be difficult; since this is such an ever-growing industry, more and more brands keep popping up. This makes it difficult to find a computer that meets your wants and needs. So, before you even begin to research and choose one, you need to find out for yourself what you want in a gaming PC. First and foremost, you need to set a budget. What are you willing to spend? Gaming PCs range in price from only a few hundred to over a few thousand dollars and anywhere in between. If you narrow in your budget at around $500, then that will drastically narrow your search, and you can find the best gaming PC at that price point in no time. Choose a budget first, and then start looking.

Second, you need to be doing your research. This is so important, because before you buy something, you need to know if it going to work for you. Ask yourself these questions: What will I be using the PC for? What kind of games will I be playing? How much storage will these games need? Will I be customizing my system? How many games will I be playing at once? Which graphics card do I need? Does audio matter to me? If you answer all these questions, you will be one step closer to finding the best gaming PC that is right for you.

I am going to write mini-reviews for five gaming PCs on the market today. While some of these may be the best gaming PCs for their price, we are going to take an in-depth look at them to see what they are like. My hope is that at the end of going through them, you will have a clearer picture of which one you should get. The best part is that they range in price from a few hundred to over a thousand dollars, just to give you the best range of gaming PCs available today.

This is the cheapest gaming PC on our list but still one of the best value for dollar purchase. Now, first we should make sure that even though something is cheaper, we aren’t getting a product without a lot of features. The only downside with this one is the graphics card, but other than that it really does hold its own. I would recommend it to any beginner interested in gaming on a PC as it does everything you need it to do.

This is also a very affordable gaming PC on our list today. However, I don’t think it is the best, but it is still not the worst. The keyboard and mouse that come with it are essentially garbage, and I replaced mine right away. The graphics are great and the processor is fast enough to run even the biggest of games.

  • Not much room for customization, only 2 RAM slots

  • Loud keyboard when using, may need to get a new one

  • Disc drive not included, although they are becoming obsolete

Even though I think this gaming PC is great for beginners, it is not the best one for gamers who really like to customize their systems. It only comes with 2 RAM slots, and you won’t be able to add much more than that. Another turn off for some people is the lack of a DVD/CD drive, but those are simply becoming obsolete, most games are now available online direct to the computer. If you do need a DVD drive, there are plenty of external ones available. Other than these cons, I think it does what it needs to and comes in at an affordable price. It is one of the best on this list.

  • Extremely quiet, will not disturb you

  • Case looks great

  • Cooling system works fantastic

  • Quick to start the machine

  • Since it is compact, can take it other places

  • Not enough features for how expensive it is

So here is my biggest issue with this gaming PC: the price. If it wasn’t the most expensive, I would recommend it highly. However, there are not enough additional features or speeds to justify why it is so much more expensive than others on the market today. If you do have the money to spare, it is a great system and has a great video card, and is quick all around. However, I have read plenty of reviews that say they have experienced some lagging issues, which is a nightmare for most gamers. So just be hesitant about this.

At the very end of the day, all of us gamers know that any type of console or system is entirely up to personal preference. It all depends on what you want most in your gaming PC. If you want to keep updating and installing new drivers, then you need to find a gaming PC that allows you to do that. It also comes down to your budget.

Out of the list above, I think the top two best gaming PCs are the CybertronPC Borg-Q Gaming Desktop and the SkyTech Omega Gaming Computer PC; they offer great machines at an affordable price. The CybertronPC Borg-Q Gaming Desktop is perfect for a beginner, because it is the cheapest one on the list, but it still is incredibly fast and customizable. I wish you all the best in your future purchase and hope to see you in the online gaming community for PC!
