Many are very affordable simply because the large competition is pushing prices.  Devoko, a Chinese furniture maker presents a couple of models all in the budget range. Ideal for esports fans who want to buy a gaming chair without spending too many dollars. A gaming chair must be comfortable and material must be durable enough to allow sitting all day in it without breaking off or tearing apart.  So one must be careful to compare the chair’s workmanship and materials used, as this is the only way to save on production cost.

Devoko Ergonomic Gaming Chair Racing Style

The Devoko Gaming chair is another low priced gaming chair in the popular racing style design. The features are the same as in most other chairs and differ only slightly. But nevertheless, the chair is super popular and sells in large numbers.

Design

This racing-style chair is ergonomically designed to provide comfort to the occupant. The adjustable lumbar and neck support of the gaming chair adds some extra comfort.

The dimensions of the chair are generous, the bucket seat is about 20 x 20 inches that is fairly wide and is ample space for large people.

The chair has a rocking function the tension of which can be adjusted with a large screwing know under the seat. It can be locked with the dual function of the height adjustment lever.

Reclinable Backrest

The backrest can be tilted backward to 180 degrees into a horizontal position. It is, of course, lockable in any position within that range.  A feature that lets you stretch out and take a nap or relax after extensive gaming sessions. I personally don’t use the reclining function in my chair much and would not miss anything that goes beyond 120 – 130 degrees. But there are many users that value a 180 degrees recline.

Cover and upholstery

The chair covers are made of synthetic PU leather, it comes in stylish stripes and arrow-like structure and is available in 3 colors.  The chair’s padding is a standard open-cell PU foam.

Armrests

The armrests are fixed and can not be adjusted to personal needs.

Frame, Dimension, Comfort

The chair is height adjustable with the help of a gas lift. It swivels on a base made of nylon. Plastic castor let the Devoko chair roll hard or carpeted floors.

Although the chair has a rated weight capacity of up to 300 pounds, the chair is rather designed for smaller people who are no taller than 5 feet 10.

Easy to put together

For many people this is the most difficult part, putting the chair together, even most chairs are to some part preassembled. This one comes in well over ten parts, but assembling the Devoko Ergonomic Racing style gaming chair is fairly easy. An easy to follow manual is included.

Conclusion

The chair has everything a simple gaming chair needs. The chair looks amazing and lets you sit in comfort for a couple of hours. But keep in mind it is a budget chair so don’t expect the quality and the durability of a premium gaming chair 

The weight capacity of the gaming chair is given at 300 pounds, together with the dimensions of the chair large occupants find enough space to sit in comfort.

Even if Devoko is not a dedicated gaming chair manufacturer, they have done everything right with this model. For the low price a good value chair.
